Windows 7 Strange little bug

At exactly 1:00 AM Central time today, September 20th, Aero shut off. One of my friends using 7 had the same problem, and his video card fan went crazy as well. Mine fixed itself at 1:02, his Aero and fans fixed themselves a couple minutes later. Neither of us can figure out what happened. Any ideas? Anyone here have the same thing happen?

Spooky...

MS has be known to sneak updates through..maybe it was something like that?

I thought of that too. Windows update says that the last time updates were installed was 9/18 at 9:13 AM. But then again, it wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft was sticking in updates that aren't counted there.
