📎 AI Summary:
The original poster is annoyed by a persistent "Switch Between Apps" tip overlay on Windows, which asks users to swipe in from the edge. A responder provides a link to a guide on disabling help tips in Windows 8, which the original poster then confirms helps by suggesting that moving the cursor to the upper left corner dismisses the tip. The overall sentiment is troubleshooting a frustrating UI feature, with the resolution being a simple cursor movement to hide the tip.

View media item 633I have recently been getting this SWITCH BETWEEN APPS window which has a big orange arrow and tells me to swipe in from the edge etc. The problem is that it lays on top of everything and I can't figure out how to close it or to stop in from giving me this hint repeatedly. It is very annoying. How do I get rid of it?

Thanks for that help. I found that you can make this tip go away by putting your cursor arrow into the upper left corner of the screen.
