Hello, newbie here. I recently had a scare with a vendor who changed settings and did not put back. When problems were noticed they tried to blame on my computer.

Restore points or system image seem perfect to protect me from this in the future. I want to be able to back these points or images up off site. Which is preferable to use in this case?

Please advise. Thank you for your help.

Personally I would not go for Acronis True Image anymore, at least not version 2015, since I've made bad experience with this software (images were not restorable). I now use Paragon Hard Disk Manager, there is also a backup-only version which is called Paragon Backup and Restore. There are also other solutions like EasUs Backup, Macronium Reflect...

Window does have wbadmin and schedule to do that. Or cloudbacko, multcloud, etc. They are freeware.
