Windows 7 Professional: The Thumbnail feature in my Toolbar is no longer functioning correctly. When you hover over the icon of the program in question, it still shows

the small icons of which windows are open, but when you hover over an individual small icon, it no longer flashes the temporary large screen version of that window.

Solution
Try going to the Control Panel - System. On the upper left, select Advanced System Settings.

Advanced Tab, Performance Settings and make sure "Enable Aero Peek" is checked and apply.

If it is checked, you might go back the the System panel and make sure the Windows Experience Index is current.

Thank you, Saltgrass! I unchecked and rechecked the "Enable Aero Peek" and applied it, and did a performance troubleshoot, and that has fixed the problem.

Glad I could help. Good job thinking of unchecking and rechecking...
