I'm trying to flash my BIOS to fix some random restart problems I've been having lately. I have a BIOSTAR Group A880GZ motherboard from American Megatrends Inc. When I try to run afuwin.exe and update my BIOS through the Flash Utility that they have available on their site, I get an error message stating "Error Loading Drivers." I have tried running the program as an administrator from several different locations to no avail as well and I am wondering if anybody else has had this problem? I am in the process of contacting their technical support but was wondering if anybody else had any solutions in the meantime.

Solution
Many motherboards have firmware protection enabled by default in the BIOS Setup, which prevents flashing the BIOS.
Maybe check around and see if there is such a setting on your board.
