Hello,
This feature always work in my computer.
Now he doesn´t work and i don´t know why.
When i click a video with the right bottom of the mouse I choose "Open With".
In the next screen I choose "Choose another app"
Then I choose "MPC-HC" and I select "Always use this app to open .mp4 files"
It doesn´t work like before, because he doesn´t change the icon for example from VLC to MPC-HC, and he opens always VLC.
I don´t like VLC.
The same situation in "Control Panel >> Default Programs >> Choose default apps by file type when I choose MPC-HC.
He do nothing. But with VLC or other Windows apps it works.

Thanks

Curious

MPC-HC has been unsupported since last year so probably not the best choice. You may want to check out smplayer. My guess is MPC-HC doesn't create a registry class and therefore can't be associated.
