📎 AI Summary:
Rael, the original poster, asked about upgrading to Windows 7, whether the upgrade could be free, and how to manage their recovery partition. A responder clarified that Windows 7 cannot be obtained for free legally but offered guidance on freeing up disk space by shrinking the existing partition to create a new one for the OS. They also provided links to resources explaining how to perform these operations, helping Rael understand the process but emphasizing legal acquisition of Windows 7.

3) is there any link that explain how to make this two operations or can you give me an help doing this?

Thanks for your attention

Can i have window7 for free?

- No. At least there's no legal way. Discussing Illegal ways are forbidden at this forum.
Legally you can buy Windows 7 from Microsoft partners as a full retail version or as an upgrade.

Legally you can evaluate Windows 7 Enterprise 90-day Trial
Windows 7 Enterprise | Trial, Evaluation, Test, Download

can I use the RECOVERY partition or create a new one to save basic programs I have and then install window7

- You can free up disk space on C, then shrink C partition, and from the new unallocated space you can create a new partition (you want 40 Gb or more) to install windows on.
