📎 AI Summary:
The user Peterr is experiencing issues with the "Safely Remove Hardware" feature on Windows 11, which did not occur in Windows 10. They ask about the location of relevant settings, noting that the feature stops working after installing the December 2021 cumulative update, but functions properly if they revert to a system restore prior to the update. Additionally, Peterr finds that "Focus Assist" impacts the safety removal feature, working when focus assist is off and not when it is on, regardless of specific time settings.

I have a persistent problem with safety remove and my flash drives but never did with Windows 10.
Do you know where that setting is in 11?
I had it once but have forgotten where it is.

I wanted to add that when I install the last cumulative update of 12-3-21 safety remove stops working. if I do system restore prior to the update, it works.
I need the update so what can I do?

When focus assist is on, safety remove does not work and when focus assist is off safety remove does. Is there a time that would work. I had 9-5 then10-11 PM to try. and the same thing happened. I have it of now so safety remove will work.
