I recently got Win 7 Home Premium. I have transfered my pictures from win xp to win 7, my pictures folder, I have noticed that my pictures are in Windows Media Playes as well. Is this to be or not. Thank you

Hello and welcome.

I've change the thread title to reflect the content. "Win 7" was way too generic of a title, so it needed adjustment.

To answer the question, yes, it is normal for WMP to show what is in the My Pictures folder.

Hello and welcome to the Windows7 forums.

Was this a "clean" install or an upgrade.

Do you mean pictures or videos?

Could you fill in your complete computer specs to make it easier to diagnose your problem

Thanks

Thanks for updating.

Yes, it's normal for the "album art" to appear in Windows Media Player.
