Windows 7 Creative XFI Extreme. What software must be installed?

I have installed the Creative driver. What other of the software can I install or must I install. Will the current versions of the creative audio console and creative player etc work with windows 7

You should have a software disk that came with it.

If it's Vista , it's worth a try.

I know they used to list downloads on their site, but I think they've discontinued that.

Could you provide the exact model of the sound card?

The card is Creative XFi Extreme music and the model no is SB0460. I downloaded the latest software updates from the site. In XP the console launcher would load automatically and be available from the launch icons on the toolbar. Now it does not anymore. I'm not sure which off the apps listed there I must install for windows 7. Is Creative Alchemy needed? I know it is for Vista

Yes it is.. It seems that most of Creatives (or all?) cards have reduced functionality under 7/vista..

Hmm..... That Daniel K guy may have written new drivers but not sure... When I get a min', I'll check.

Yes get ALchemy, works for windows 7 too, I use it for all games with EAX.
