Windows 11 23H2 fresh installation.
Firefox fresh installation.
Multiple Addons result in Download error.
Multiple common popular websites downloads result in download error.
No networking issues, internet very fast, consistant, no VPN. All Windows optional and required updates. 3 AV scan no viruses.
An image from 'Firefox does not download anything'. Error message stating 'Download failed. Please check your connection.' in red box.

I was able to reproduce the error, but only by disabling my internet. You can open dev tools and look for the error message and the associated action that failed.

Could be an extension, endpoint protection or some other unknown blocking the download. Could also run procmon and look for write errors to the extension location
