Why do some sites load another page behind the page I'm reading?When I clse the page another site is running spam behind the page I was on, how do I stop this.

Bekow is information on turning on/off the IE9 Popup Blocker. Hopefully, this will resolve your issue.
To turn on or off Pop-up Blocker in Internet Explorer 9
1.Click the Tools button, and then click Internet options.
2.On the Privacy tab, select or clear the Turn on Pop-up Blocker check box, and then click OK.

That seem to do the trick,I had PopupBlocker checked. I went into popup setting and selected turn off All popup's
