Microsoft have stopped releasing updates for Win 8.1/7 unless they are super critical.

To access updates one has to visit the Microsoft update catalog and download them from there.

To make things slightly easier Microsoft has placed every security update since SP1 in a 'Convenience roll up package'. ( KB 3125574)
