Hi all

I am having a few issues with Win 8

Firstly - Windows Update

Whenever it installs the updates it restarts the computer, but then it just says failed to install uddates - reverting computer (something like that)
The updates it failed to install are: KB2736693, KB2742616, KB2742614, KB2785220, KB2770917, KB2785094 and KB2267602.

Secondly - Internet

On Win 7 the internet was insant upon startup. Now it hangs for 10-20 seconds

Any ideas/help would be hugely appretiated

I had a problem very much like that. You might want to go into the action center and click on action center. Click on troubleshooting problems and then click on fix problems with windows updates and let it check for problems. That worked for me. I hope it will help you.

I would try to open an elevated command prompt (Win + X) and typing: sfc /scannow
