Windows 7 Can't open windows

Since yesterday, I haven't been able to boot windows. I had installed windows upgrades and followed the prompt to restart the system, but since then I haven't been able to restart the system. I've tried most of the options from the F8 key, but nothing is working. After the windows is loading screen, it reverts to just a blank screen with the arrow cursor in the middle.

Hi,
when you say you've tried 'most of the options' found under the advanced boot manager does this mean you tried 'Last good known config' too?

Thanks for the reply. Yes i did try Last Known Good Configuration, but got the same result.

Hi,
thanks for the update. Try booting from your windows 7 disk but when you reach the install screen choose 'Repair' instead.
