Windows 7 How to check what version/build windows i have?

How do i check what version/build windows i have?

My desktop shows no build number, in control panel > system > windows edition, it only shows Windows 7 Ultimate

This is what it shows from my install dvd in \sources\cversion.ini

[HostBuild]
MinClient=7233.0
MinServer=7100.0

Should i assume i have retail or how do i check and make sure?

You normally use the winver command, just type it in the start search window or do a Winkey + R.

Awesome dude, thanks.

It says version 6.1, build 7600, does anyone have any idea if this is the latest or newest build(is it retail?), or if it's RC?

It's the RTM build.
