How do I import my old contacts to the people app in Windows 8? I have exported them from Thunderbird in .csv format. I tried importing them into Outlook.com, which worked, however the contacts do not sync with the people app. I can find no option in the people app or the email app to import contacts.

Hi,

to get your Contacts into the people app you have to add account details to say your Hotmail or facebook account.. Open up the People app and then click on the Charm 'Settings'. Look near the top of the revealed list and click on Accounts. You can now add whichever accounts and the contacts should automatically appear.
