would it not be install Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 on windows 7? or is there a windows 7 mode that can be installed on your current version of Microsoft Virtual PC 2007?

Does that version accept Windows 7 as a supported OS? That may be the problem. VMware Player is free Link Removed
