I'm installing Windows 7 upgrade for vista and it finds Kaspersky anti virus on my computer and tells me to uninstall. I have no knowledge of this programme and can't find it anywhere on my computer so I can't uninstall.

if there is nothing skip the warning and go ahead - 7 installation will wipe it.

while you are at it it's recommended to clean install 7 instead of upgrading from Vista - it will save you a lot of headache when you do that right now :)

You might check for a special removal tool with Kaspersky. This Kaspersky link may lead you in the right direction, but make sure it is what you can use on your system.

The Kaspersky engine is used in other security programs also.
