I have read lots of comments about the upcoming Windows 10S and I would like to be certain that it does not install on my system.
I currently have Win home Ver. 1607 running on a Hp machine that was originally purchased with Win 8.
I have been trying to find the path to turn off auto-updates and want to prevent the install so i wont have to go thru the uninstall pains.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Windows 10 S is geared toward students. It only comes on specific devices such as the new Surface tablets and specific laptop models. Systems that have Windows 10 Home, Pro and Enterprise won't ever upgrade to S. It's a completely different service branch.
