📎 AI Summary:
The forum thread discusses the feasibility of installing TeamViewer on Windows 98, with the original poster asking if it is possible. A respondent explains that it's highly unlikely since TeamViewer’s supported operating systems start from Windows 2000, and the lack of modern security protocols like TLS on Windows 98 prevents compatibility. Another user comments on the historical use of Windows 98, reflecting on its popularity in the late 1990s. The overall sentiment is that running TeamViewer on Windows 98 is not feasible due to technical limitations.

That's extremely unlikely. The oldest OS they support is 2000 with TeamViewer 8 (also EOL) anything newer will likely only support newer versions of TLS which Windows 98 doesn't support.

Hello,

which target group do Windows 98 still use? It was "in" in the end of 90s, I often read it in computer offers and watched some reports on television which worked with that OS.
