Windows 7 windows 7 pro installation problems

I tried to install windows 7 pro and came back with an error message saying there was an internal error with com. Does anyboy know what this means and how to fix the problem. I am currently using Windows 7 Ultimate 7100 rc1 evaluation copy.

How are you trying to install? Upgrade or full version of Win 7?

You can not normally upgrade from the RC, so you should be doing a custom install.

I have not seen another post with that message.

Someone here told me they did it by editing conversion.ini
