On Windows XP you could make a .ini file and set a picture to be the background (not folder icon) of the file (also change font colours ect.) But none of this works on 7 or Vista.

I just wanted to know if there was a way to enable this on Vista or 7.

Its good to know I'm not the only person having this problem. :-( unfortunately, it only appears that people are concerned with making the Desktop.ini a system file so they can't see it on their desktop.

I'll keep looking and post back if i find anything.
