I've just upgraded to Windows 7, and successfully installed and used Office 2003.
I now find that the Office 2003 software does not recognise the file format of .xlsx files.
Under XP, a small utility came into action to convert the file to .xls format.
Is it possible to get this working again under windows 7?

Solution
And or....
If your older office suite product will not recognize the new file format and a simple renaming of the file extension may result in document corruption, you may try something like this
