Right clicking on a file icon in "my computer" and choosing "properties/details" reveals a considerable number of fields - "author", "copyright", "title" etc.

These can all be edited individually, but how can I update a folder containing perhaps as many as a hundred files in one go?

I would like to be able to, for example, assign my name, my copyright, a date, etc, etc to my photos without having to do it one by one.

Presumably I have to write some sort of script or batch file, or is there some built in "update" facility I haven't found?

Thanks in advance!

You can use programs like Adobe bridge. Also check the free Microsoft Pro Photo Tools 2. It has batch processing:
