Does Microsoft Edge store more closed tabs and windows than just the most recent 20?

Hello all, I have Chrome set as the default browser on my desktop and laptop, but neither one will use Chrome when using the Weather widget or selecting Weather from the left side of the taskbar. Does anyone know how to change the browser being used for this?- Need More Ram

Windows 10 Edge and Internet Explorer are the only working browsers and I don't know why...
