At first, it seemed like a quaint little feature: a sunny (or not-so-sunny) peek at today’s weather, living right on the left side of your Windows 11 taskbar. But for many users, the weather widget has become something of a digital weed—sprouting up after every major update, stubbornly clinging...

As you gaze at your computer desktop, what do you see? For many of us, it's a chaotic mix of folders, files, shortcuts, and sometimes, the odd meme or two. Picture it: a digital wasteland where the search for that crucial document feels more like a scavenger hunt than a straightforward task...
Updated to version 22H2 and uninstalled OneDrive, but there are multiple desktops which is very confusing and unnecessary for my work environment. How can I retain a single Desktop in the classic mode while removing others, including links to the nonexistent OneDrive?
I think is a virtual desktop manager.
I can activate with the mouse left click touching the left border of my screen.
Then appear three points in the bottom of the screen.

I am running Windows 10 Pro. I have two monitors: a native one on the laptop and a large secondary one connected to it through HDMI cable. I would like to use the Windows 10 multiple desktops feature. Right now my two monitors act as if they are one large desktop, allowing me to move windows...
The countdown to our Windows 10 launch continues. Today, we’re talking about multi-doing on Windows 10. Our lives are busier than ever requiring us to juggle more tasks, both big and small. Wouldn’t it be great if our devices could help make accomplishing our tasks simpler? With features like...
A) Some people have said Multiple Desktops & Task View is silly or unnecessary or 'geeky' when I suggested it could be put to good use.
B) Windows 10 allows some funky snapping. 1/2 screen or 1/4 screen. And everything 'floats' & is sizable.
Well, it is becomes bloody neat when you combine A...
I have Windonws 7 Professional running on several virtual desktops (VMWare View). The virtual desktops go to sleep after a few minutes, and require a password on wakeup.
I've read a number of threads that deal with either disabling password on wakeup, or preventing the OS from going to sleep...

Hi,
Currently when to try to remote desktop to a Windows 7 Ultimate PC, all the active windows and moved to a single screen, even though before i connected, there were active windows on both screens of the PC. Have anyone else come across this issue?
Thanks.
New external HDD won't show in "Computer"
l Have searched a lot, but only find comments directing me to Disk management and
