    Windows 8 Possibly helpful video driver story (news)

    I, like many, have a NVidia card. Some time ago NVidia offered a driver for Windows8. Even, after grabbing that, I continued to have video occasional vid issues. Ergo, I would check Update Driver & be told it was a good as could be. Was getting some hiccups, again, today & checked, again...

    Since running a recommended registry cleaner program I have experienced numerous problems. It has been suggested I restore the registry to the factory backup in the SAMbox(?) I hope that is right. I realise that I will lose programs but that is not a problem - they can be re-installed later...
