I rebuilt the cache many times, and tried every voodoo command I found, but I have never been able to get all my icons to show properly on Windows 11 since I installed it in June.
The icons with the issue are RANDOM and CHANGING.
I have uninstalled Acronis True Image 2021 and installed version 2025. The Acronis True Image agent no longer appears in the system tray. I have checked the settings and am unable to find a seetting.
I love "learn about this picture" with each windows update my icon disappears!!! Via a we web search I downloaded a file and did a registry edit. Most recent Windows Update installed and no icon again. Is there a way to protect the icon and spotlight feature from being removed from my pc...
So, yesterday I wanted to get some icons out of Windows like recycle bin icon, etc. I know that they are stored in shell32.dll and imageres.dll libraries, so I found them and opened in Resource Hacker. In my surprise, there was no icon data at all! I even checked it through HxD and other raw...

Microsoft’s latest update to its Copilot app has raised more eyebrows than applause, and not for the reasons the tech giant might’ve hoped. The controversial change? A new app icon that appears almost illegible on lower-resolution displays. This design misstep highlights how something as...
Right click taskbar>taskbar settings>left click settings>other system tray icons= red X on mouse keys.
Why is there a red on mouse keys and how to remove it?
P.S.
I used a program to recover an image and all is fixed. Never did get the way to fix the previous OS issue. Now it is moot.
The folder icons that were yellow are now white on my hard drive. They are yellow when viewing the contents of a USB drive.
How do I get the yellow ones back??

Oddly, Word also disappeared from my apps., but I've...

I've tried running the notepad script on the windows 10 website, and I've also tried running the Win10Fix_Full.bat file. It said all of my system requirements checked out. The icon doesn't show up in my tray though. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium and have an up-to-date Service Pack 1. I even...
