    Windows 7 hp laserjet 1020 installation error

    Hello, i have an hp laserjet 1020 and my windows 7 is not recognizing it. I tried to install it manually but during the installation process appears a massage saying 'make sure the printer is connected'. After that the installation fails.... can anybody help? thanks :(

    Windows 7 Anyone get thier older Laserjet printers to work?

    I got a laserjet 1200 and it won't work under Win 7, not even with Vista drivers. In XP, no drivers were needed.
