Timing tasks and tracking productivity have become central to how we interact with our computers, and Windows aims to make managing time as seamless as possible. Among the built-in utilities that cater to this need, the Clock app stands out as a multi-functional tool that bundles an alarm...
Every time I boot, I get this warning from Windows Defender.
I've found different information about what this is, from the worst virus in the world to being a glitch in the system.
I've read several methods for removing it manually by removing the service folder to run your antivirus.
When I...

I leave my Desktop on before leaving my room. Than I remotely login. However today I noticed the Desktop was restarted as I wasn't remoted on for 3 hours!! Is it someone entering my locked room to restart the PC?? Is it the electricity turning off ? Or is it some windows update doing all this...
So am retiring my 12 yr old windows 7 laptop as the pile of quirks builds. As a quick side note- replaced it with an HP AIO dual drive now set up for Linux/Windows 11 dual boot. Seems ok so far. Anyhow- took one of the final steps toward retiring the old laptop a few days ago by disconnecting...
I noticed this box on some files on the desktop only, then I did a full scan of the device and there are no viruses and I did a reboot, but to no avail. It is still there. I just want to know what it is? And is it harmful?

My battery level indicator suddenly disappeared from the system tray. I hadn't been tinkering or done anything I'm aware of to make it go away. It's just gone and I had to wait for the low battery message from Windows. But how do I know when it's fully charged to avoid killing battery life...
Hi guys
I noticed today that this message keeps appearing at the top of the Prompt window when ever I open it?
A quick search didn't find any explanation of what this is about, only people asking how to get rid of it.
Mike
For the past year the pop-up (picture attached) has been appearing sometimes multiple times daily.
I'm no expert but it appears to relate to some sort of updating for various laptops.
System is win10 Ver. 20H2 Build19042.867.
Apart from the annoyance, it seems to cause no problems, but any help...

Hi,
As in the subject, the user has no message about changing the password when he has no access to anything except the program started at login.
Is there any solution for this problem?
