Hi All
From what I can see the European pricing model doesn't look too bad -- although the No Browser part still needs to be clarified== you do need SOME browser in the system to be able to connect to the Internet and download and install one.

Microsoft this morning announced its retail pricing plans for Windows 7. First, the good news: Contrary to rumors, the company is not raising prices. The bad news? It's not significantly lowering prices either. In fact, most versions of Windows 7 will simply cost exactly the same as their...
Windows 7 SKUs (Stock Keeping Unit strategy). A leaked memo from a company partner revealed last week some price tags for upgrade editions of Windows 7.
“Starting June 26 there will be a presell of select versions of Windows 7on BestBuy.com - $49.99 for Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade, and...
As I commented in a previous thread....
Well, An IT System Admin friend of mine had a 'teleconference' with MS on the subject of Win7 the other day; when I was talking with him, he asked me if there was anything I wanted to know about Win7? I ( in a 'tongue-in-cheek' mode) said yeah, ask them...

I mean that since Microsoft didn't pay anything for "our" time and expertise, it should only be fitting that...
I had a look at the Win 7 pricelist and its in dollars, it doesnt really help seing as though i live in the UK, and converting it doesnt help since most games are sold for same quantity of currency in most countries.
Will it be similar to Vista prices? And can i just buy an OEM copy without...
Ho guys
sorry if this is in German but you should be able to see some of the "Semi-Official" pricing for Windows 7.
These are for "New" editions (I Hope). If there's no cheaper Upgrade versions then much as I like Windows 7 count me out -- I'll just stick with XP and run a number of Virtual...
So I had some extra cash to blow and decided to pick up a copy of Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 32-bit last night. $129.99 isn't too bad of a price for an upgrade copy of an OS when there's way to perform a clean install ;) , in my opinion. But I'm curious to know what all your opinions are on...
I wonder if this is a chance for MS to make more money on purchasing "Add.ons". Or are they preparing "7" minimum for a real low price (and speedier) breakthrough.
