I exported the data to .pst file on the windows XP and tried to read the file on the same outlook version on the windows 7 it behave as if it reads but nothing is imported into the new outlook.
After installing Office on my machine I noticed the amount of disk used space jumped by over 10 GB. After investigating I found 24 locations that the .pst is located. Can anyone explain why?

Having backed up the Outlook Inbox, Sent Item, etc to pst files prior to the build of Windows 7 Home, I get this message when I try & import the data back into Outlook.
