A surface test of my hard disk with some partition tools showed one or more bad sectors.
How can I find out exactly which of my files allocated space these bad sectors in the past?
....and which are now corrupted?
I have heard that a "chkdsk" run could repair/exclude these bad sectors...
Background... a few days ago I shutdown and disconnected my Desktop PC (running valid upgrade to Pro) and cleaned the inside (compressed air). Upon reconnecting it to all of the cords it decided to go into a BSOD loop.

Booted OK but screen display fuzzy (OK on external monitor)

Upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 at Microsoft suggestion. Everything fine for a while. Then lost 'start' button - lost programmes list and had to right click to turn off. Somehow the button started working again (Microsoft update?). Again everything fine for a while.
