touchpad

I have a Vaio u380n and after I installed windows 7 the pointer is not clicking accurately on the screen. I didn't have this problem before when I had windows vista. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Approximately every other boot up the mouse does not work. If I reboot the system it works fine. Anyone else have this problem? I have a laptop with a touch pad. Thanks
