Remote Desktop is working fine with my DC server, as well as my DCHP server but not with my file server??? They machines I rdc to are all windows 2003 enterprise servers. Windows 7 Trouble Accessing Workgroup Computers in Windows 7 RC: Username and Password Issues
I have installed windows 7 Rc and I am able to browse a majority of computer in the workgroup but others ask for a user name and password. Windows 7 Windows 7 RDP to WIn 2003
Is there any Know issues with the Windows 7 version of RDP. I was connected to a windows 2003 and logged off the server by typing logoff in run. I was logged off but the server then proceeded to restart. Any one see this issue before?- LukeIrvine

Windows Vista Login credentials to a network share not saved
Hi everyone. I've been really bothered by a login issue in Vista... When connecting to a computer on the local network, i'm always asked for a username and password even though i've checked the box that says "remember my username and password". Windows 7 How to access $ shares
Is there a way to access the $ shares in Windows 7? I have a Vista machine as well as 2003 and I could access the C$ shares from either machine. With Windows 7 I am not allowed access to these shares. Any help would be appreciated.- m3d0c

Windows 7 Joining windows 2003 domain
has anyone been able to join a domain with build 7000, every time i try it gives an error message saying incorrect parameter......it does create the computer account in active directory....anyone had this problem or know how to solve it??- heathky

Windows Vista Problems when i try to join vista to 2003 domain
Hello, when I try and join to the 2003 domain I get the following error "An attempt to resolve the DNS name of a DC in the domain being joined has failed. Please verify this client is configured to reach a DNS server that can resolve DNS names in the target domain" Any ideas? Thanks- farid1965
