I don't use a laptop, but if I did, I would like the idea of solar power. To make it practical, it would only be used to recharge the battery, but that would give it almost infinite power supply. It doesn't seem like too much of a stretch of the imagination for this type of solar power system to work, if it were scaled down appropriately:
