I bought a new wireless headset which is connected by a usb dongle. I also have speaker sound bar for my pc. With the previous headset wired I was able to listen using headphones and sound bar at the same time. Now I have to switch output using sound system in volume mixer. Is there an easy fix?

To have sound output simultaneously through both your wireless headset and sound bar on your PC, you can follow these steps on Windows 10:

Method 1: Using Stereo Mix

  1. Enable Stereo Mix:
    • Right-click on the sound icon in the taskbar and select "Sounds."
    • Go to the "Recording" tab, right-click on an empty area, and make sure both "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices" are checked.

    • Right-click on the volume icon in the taskbar, select "Open Sound settings."
    • Under "Advanced sound options," click on "App volume and device preferences."
    • Ensure that both your headset and sound bar are set to the desired volume levels for sound output.

      Method 2: Third-Party Software

If you are unable to achieve the desired setup using the built-in Windows settings, you may consider using third-party applications like VB-Audio Virtual Cable or Audio Router to route audio to multiple devices simultaneously. By following these steps, you should be able to output audio to both your wireless headset and sound bar concurrently, providing you with a seamless audio experience.
