WZOR says that it has been signed off as RTM.
Yer just saw the news myself. I just installed 16384 on both my laptops and desktop this morning aswell dammit!! Glad too hear tho that they finally RTM`d
Thank you busydog good news indeed
You really should upgrade to 16385.... forums have called 16384 the Frankenstein Build.
Well Ive allready upgraded the laptops as of now, not had time to upgrade my main rig yet as got a few things I need to backup before I do a fresh install. Its all good tho, just glad they RTM`d at last. Now where is Radenight? I wanna do this
Is it only Wzor that is saying it's Gold or is this straight from the horses mouth?.. I've been out of town on business for the last two days so I've been out of the loop so to speak..

How do these people have this information? This seems to all be speculation. Update on Windows 7 RTM - Windows 7 Team Blog - The Windows Blog I believe only a true RTM announcement from Microsoft will be sufficient for me to do any re-installing.
That's exactly the point I've been trying to get accross.. It's speculation until officially announced by Microsoft.. NOT Wzor..
I hate to be the downer in this thread.. I really do.. But I think WZOR got it wrong again..
Been browsing this site for 30mins and no slow downs. Good work. Rep system not working for me though. Im sure there is still work to be done though. Thanks Mike. On topic, I think busydog is right this time. Although the WZors iso will have different hash values to Microsofts when they release it, Im confident in their conclusion that this will be the final code. However the best advice to be sure is wait for Microsoft to release it as Mike and Radenight have said. Going on WZors info, which has been more than trust worthy thus far, their iso was made from the original source files from Microsoft, which is exactly what Microsoft will do when they are ready to release it. There is no such thing as a compile to iso. So, if in fact what WZor has said about the vote passing, the code will be unchanged from the July 13th build, and you will have the same thing that Microsoft releases. Im guessing we will hear from Microsoft early next week, and WZor has stated RTM will be up on Technet on the 24th. Here is some of their quotes, 13th July 7600.16385.090713-1255_x64fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULXFRER_EN_DVD.iso SHA1: 326327CC2FF9F05379F5058C41BE6BC5E004BAA7 We have to trust them on this. At that time they weren't sure it was the final. Than the Chinese dude leaked the files in 3 rar files. When people extracted the rar files, they found out it did not extract to an ISO, but to seprate files and folders. So people had to build their own ISO from that. That ISO can never have the same hash as the original one from MS. In fact the Chinese build is on WZOR with the following specs 7600.16384.090710-1945_x64fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULXFRER_EN_DVD.iso SIZE: 3,224,717,312 bytes CRC: 1EE7DC6F MD5: E6CE9644D0C7A8E1C950D257A7B2C8A4 SHA1: 31849B315290EFABFD81F967ED3C553D82925E4C You see? Different hash. Then we got the news that build 16385 was signed off, which means Microsoft did not change anything since the 13th. This means the original ISO will still have the hash code: SHA1: 326327CC2FF9F05379F5058C41BE6BC5E004BAA7 like WZOR initialy stated. Now WZOR is leaking their own ISO build which is this: MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.7.ULTIMATE.7600.16385.RTM.X64.RETAIL.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT BUILD: 7600.16385.090713-1255 7600.16385.090713-1255_x64fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULXFRER_EN_DVD.iso - iso has been made from original m$ files and folders set. SIZE: 3,223,209,984 byte SHA1: 29d32ad89b7eb05033974c99f8fc41d06f36a58c MD5: 4171999e05724d309a62104d83485d69 Today (July 18, 2009) morning in Moscow (in the United States was the evening of July 17) signed by the golden code release to manufacturers Windows 7 RTM: Even last night (16 hours for MSK 17.07.2009 year), we told you about the preliminary results of a vote on the final "gold code" Windows 7 INTERNATIONAL and wondering what in the vote cast 24 votes against discussing 6.1.7600.16385.090713 build - 1255., and now we see that those votes "against" were withdrawn to vote, and now the decision "for" votes unanimously adopted 8541, which we congratulate you and all. In the vote was attended by leading engineers of Microsoft. What's next? Gold code signed, but with no clear distribution. Let me make one suggestion which is destined to be realized, as follows: immediately (ie, Saturday-Sunday) after the signing of the gold code should be rebuild or replacement in the EULA are already signed 7600.16385.090713-1255 in the new assembly has the final distribution and it rebuilt the distribution will be available July 24 at CONNECT. And that come true my opinion, we will learn to give-schy Monday-Tuesday. Now, on the outflow, has passed under the bridge, all that is possible, but we currently only available distributions bulk, however, and at our request, "Bill Gates" brought together a startup disk, keep in mind that cheksummy "our" distribu-tivov will be different from the original cheksumm have not yet posted on the website CONNECT distributions on the same time, we warn you. We will publish original distributions as soon as they become available to us! I hope you have a joke about Bill understood correctly, but in every joke there is truth!
Very well written post Loathe.. Puts things into perpective for those who haven't a clue who to believe.. I'll give you some rep once it's up and running again..
I would love to know what caused the change of heart....
Thank you. It was migrated to a new server and some features for speed reasons need to be disabled *reputation amongst them*. This is just the first wave of some changes I am currently working on which within the next 2-3 weeks should improve the capacity well above and beyond what is needed. In regards to all of this, how do you know that this isn't a checked (debug) build, even if it is RTM? No bootable image is strange.
I suspect a lot gets lost in translation. I know they had to list their reasoning as to why they voted against. Maybe that had something to do with it. Bottom line is you dont really.
I can tell you this build asks you which version you want to install, does not have a watermark and does not expire.
When will you get Windows 7 RTM? - Windows 7 Team Blog - The Windows Blog So they hadn't RTM'd three days ago. (Note that the blog post is from today.)
We will know if the code is the same when there is a official build released. If you extract WZors iso and find the install.wim file in the sources folder, and compare the hash values with the official one, they should be the same if the code matches. This file is the payload of the iso. The thing is they havent denied it like they did with 16384. We will have to wait and see.
This is to everyone: Windows 7 Team Blog - The Windows Blog Go visit that page and refresh it every three seconds until it says OMG RTM LOL. Until then, no RTM.
So Windows 7 has released to manufacturing. No new build since the 13th, no denial from Microsoft, I still say 16385 is the RTM. On top of the OEM's are said to get it in two days, which means a leak should follow shortly after. UPDATE Heres a quote from Neowin 7600.16385.090713-1255 is confirmed as the official RTM build, according to Steven Sinofsky "today after all the validation checks were met, we signed off and declared build 7600.16385 as RTM."
