Can you please tell me how to create and add a signature to a word document?

Solution
Write your name on a piece of white paper; and scan it to your hard drive. Save as a .JPG, or .PNG file. Then copy & paste the image into the new signature feature in Word. I've done this before for Clients. It's pretty easy. However, you may need to use some different tools to get the .JPG sized correctly so that the Word Signature editor will recognize it. There are videos and how-to's on this as well. I suggest PaintshopPro X or the free Paint.net to do the image size tweaking necessary.

Hi there,

This is pretty simple. Here's a really easy to follow, step-by-step video on YouTube that shows you just how to do it here:

Good luck,

OK, that's a very good way to do that and I love this idea that's really good you sent me, but I guess what I really wanted was to be able to insert my handwritten signature as if I wrote it myself in cursive by signing my name to a document of sorts. How would I do that in MS Word 2010?
