Hi

Here's another example of why I hate apps!

I decided to try the 7Zip Opener app, I always use 7-Zip anyway and maybe the app will make it easy to use.

It's very easy to start with.

So I install the app, (now with the normal desktop version of 7-Zip you just right click on the .zip or .rar file and select 7.Zip, the window pops open and you can drag the contents to where ever you want) So I click on the .Zip file in Windows Explorer and select Open the 7Zip App.

What happens?

It opens a dialog Window with several options, I have to select Other, then it asks me to navigate to the file that I want to open?

I have to go through drives, folders, sub-folders to get to the file I was pointing at to start with.

This is just dumb, fortunately the original program works great, but this is just another example of poor app design.

I just wonder what they are thinking about sometimes.

Mike
