    Hi there,

Is anyone able to play BluRay or HD-DVD's on x64 7100?

Powerdvd starts to play then crashes before reaching the menu. Has anyone got BD to playback ok?

PowerDVD9 works for me. (My graphics card uses an nVidia GTX280 GPU. Current drivers are 185.85.)

The version (7.x) that was bundled with my BD/DVD-RW combo drive did not, at least on earlier builds (70xx). It didn't crash, but it declared that my graphics drivers were incompatible.

thanks mate, I'll give it a go

The version I got with my drive also said the Nvidia drivers was incompatible so I'll have to get v9 and try it :)

    PowerDVD works for me.

I have no problem playing back BluRay on my 7100 build.

Yes I am running now but had a similar problem. In my case I had to update my bios. I have the IONITX from Zotac which has a dual atom and nvidia graphics. -chuckp
