Windows 8 Blurry/missing text in Start Screen side?

Anyone else getting this weird, blurry font and missing text on the start screen side of things? Everything desktop is working just swell for me.

When I mouse over text, it'll sharpen up for a while, as you can see by my cursor over the Lightroom icon. It's still not as sharp as it should be. Text will straight up go missing, as you can see by the black boxes around the "Start" on the start screen, as well as some of the other graphics. My personalization menus are almost blacked out.

I actually fixed it for a while by uninstalling and reinstalling my GTX 570 drivers. But then it magically came back.

Confused! Any help appreciated, thanks :)

Hi,

check your nvidia drivers for something called this:

NVIDIA FXAA Technology – shader-based anti-aliasing technology available from the NVIDIA Control Panel that enables ultra-fast anti-aliasing in hundreds of PC games. FXAA delivers similar quality to 4x multi-sample antialiasing (MSAA) but is up to 60% faster, enabling substantially higher performance in games. FXAA is supported on all GeForce 8-series and later GPUs

Having the above enabled could give the issue your seeing. Try disabling it.
