Hi,
For the 3rd time (I noticed this BSOD happens every 3 weeks!) I get a BSOD once again when webcam is on but this time the BSOD log is different to last 2 times which were the same (webcam lvrs one). This time its (See log below). Problem is I closed down the actual screen dump box that came up after my pc rebooted. But I used a program to find the log info. I dont want to download the windows kit thingy that is 700mb!! I have a low data allowance and cant afford to download 700mbs so that one is out for me. I cant retrieve the proper dmp file sorry so the below is the best I can go on. Please help me with what it means, what could be wrong?
Cheers, Chelle

Hello Chelle,

The Dump didn't give us more information. Few things i noticed are there are some out-dated drivers which you need to update it immediately. I have listed them below.

Then download MemTest86+ and burn it to a disk and run Memory Test for 6 passes

Out Dated Drivers

Code:
purendis.sys Thu Jan 03 06:09:58 2008
pnarp.sys Tue Apr 01 14:15:39 2008
LVUSBSta.sys Sat Jul 26 20:29:36 2008
lvrs.sys Sat Jul 26 20:35:18 2008
LV302V32.SYS Sat Jul 26 20:35:07 2008
lv302af.sys Sat Jul 26 20:29:32 2008
000.fcl Fri Sep 26 18:41:12 2008
Fs_Rec.sys unavailable (00000000)

Thanks! That really helps. I am relieved to hear its nothing toooo serious only outdated drivers so I will get to it now and I think I will have to buy a new webcam for Win 7 because I checked for drivers for the webcam I use and there are no update drivers. If I need more help I will come back here and post. Cheers

Sorry I have to post again. I dont understand how to downloadn Memtest86+ Its confusing! Which file do I download? Thanks

ok umm may I ask why? I'm not really sure how to do any of this? I have just burnt the iso file (Small single file) to a cd in nero express by adding the file to the cd then burning it, hope that was right?

Ok great but how do I use this boot cd I have made? Sorry I am not as techy as I used to be and this is a new problem for me with the bsod and win 7
