Encountering the CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error can be quite frustrating. This particular error typically indicates a problem with your processor or in some cases, a timing issue between the processor cores in a multi-core system. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to address this issue:
  1. Update Drivers:
    • Ensure that all your drivers are up to date, especially chipset drivers and graphics drivers.
    []Check Hardware:

    ]Overclocking:
    • If you have overclocked your CPU, try reverting to the default clock settings to see if the error persists.
    []BIOS Update:
    • Check if there is a BIOS update available for your motherboard and update it if necessary.
    [
    ]Check for System File Corruption:
    • Run the System File Checker tool to scan for and repair corrupted system files.
  2. Analyzing Minidump Files:
    • If you have minidump files generated during the BSOD, you can analyze them to pinpoint the exact cause. These files are usually located in C:\Windows\Minidump. If you can provide any minidump files or additional information about your system configuration, it would be helpful in diagnosing the issue further. Feel free to share any files or detailed information you have so we can assist you more effectively.
