Ok here is just some 'cover all the bases' suggestions.
Run a chkdsk. Right click on the computer icon and click properties, Tools and then check now. Please tick all boxes and click ok.
Run a system file checker. Open an admin cmd prompt by right clicking on it and choosing to 'run as admin'. Type:
sfc /scannow
Press enter and await results.
Run memtest86 as you just never know...
