Hi,

your bsod's are being caused by this driver:

NETwNs64.sys :Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 5000 Series Adapter Driver for Windows 7

Please update:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx

In fact all drivers need updating to their latest versions.

Hi,

your bsod's are being caused by this driver:

NETwNs64.sys :Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 5000 Series Adapter Driver for Windows 7

Please update:

Intel Download Center

In fact all drivers need updating to their latest versions.

I have updated all the ones listed on intel.com but I just went through my drivers yesterday and tried to update with the device manager and none of them needed updating... I'm no tech whiz though is there a better way for me to do it? I really don't like to muck around with stuff on my laptop lol.

Ok..well let's see how things go as it was really the driver above that causing the issue. If you bsod again please send the new dmp file.
Thank you

Unfortunately the zip file only contained a shortcut, no actual dmp file. Please re-send.

Updating through Windows Update or Device Manager is only good if you're not experiencing problems. They both look at the Windows Update site for drivers - and the manufacturer's just don't update them very often (I've seen drivers from 2005 there that are listed as current). Microsoft provides the server space, but doesn't test these drivers.

The memory dump blames networking, but doesn't point at that specific driver this time.
The raw stack text only shows one 3rd party driver - Netwsw00.sys This is another component of your Intel Wireless Network device drivers. Try:
- download a fresh copy from the PC manufacturer's website (NOT from Intel this time - just a hunch on my part)
- Un-install the current wireless networking stuff through Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program.
- install the freshly downloaded copy
- monitor for further BSOD's

I'd then suggest:
Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): [DEL] DuplexSecure - FAQ [/DEL] Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link: Disc-Tools.com
Manual procedure here: Registry and SPTD problems | DAEMON Pro Help

Next I'd suggest updating your NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Drivers as the 2010 version (which you have) is also known to cause some BSOD's in Win7 systems.

Then we wait and see what comes up next.....
