So I recently put together a new system, but have been getting this BSOD when starting it up in the morning. Afterwards the computer runs normally.

I've tried to enable creating minidumps, but 3 days in (and 3 bsod's) it hasn't created one yet.

I've copied info from the BSOD and Event Viewer below. Please let me know if any more info is needed.

-Technical Information from the BSOD below:
Code:
[B]*** STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x0000000000000003, 0xFFFFFA00E399B30, 0xFFFFFA800E399E10, 0xFFFFF80002F935F0)[/B]

-Info from the Event Viewer below:

There's only a couple of things I personally can suggest at the moment.

Make sure your RAM is seated properly, i.e. take out and re-insert. Some folks have noticed that a minor tweak upwards of the RAM voltage helps with system stability when all of the MoBo slots are occupied.

There is an up date to your BIOS that should:
1.Improve system stability.
2.Improve memory compatibility.
3.Support new CPUs.

If you can remember, (:D) on your first boot of the day, when it usually crashes, boot to Safe Mode instead of Normal Mode and see if it happens then.

As you can see Link Removed The F4 stop error is very open as to what is the actual cause.

Just spotted there is an update to your Marvell MV9xxx...
Hi P1NDLESK1N and Welcome to The Forum.

We really need to see the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:
Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

The .dmp files are located at C:\Windows\Minidump. Until a .dmp file is generated, the Minidump folder may not exist.

Go to your C:\Windows\Minidump folder. Copy the .dmp files to a new folder on your desktop. Zip up that folder and attach to a post.

Please see: Link Removed Following Method 2:
Download
and run the SF Diagnostics Tool. Right click the SF Diag tool and select Run as Administrator before running. When the reports have been created, zip them up and attach to a post.

Download and run CPU-Z. Take screenshots**/snips of the CPU tab, Mainboard tab, Memory tab and all the slot #'s under the SPD tab.
Go to Post Reply, click on the Go Advanced button and attach the screenshots**/snips to your post for all the RAM experts to see by using the paper clip you will find on the top toolbar. Do not zip them up.
**
If screenshots, please crop.

Also see: Link Removed

When attaching dmp files, PLEASE put them in a single zipped folder

Thank you for your reply, Elmer.

Haven't had another BSOD yet, knock on wood, so still no minidumps.
Ran SF Diag. and CPU-Z, screenshots and files are attached.
Note: in the CPU-Z screenshots, SPD slots #1 through #4 are identical, so I only provided #1.

Just received another BSOD today after work. :frown:

Event log shows the same as previous, but the actual BSOD showed a couple different codes.

Code:
Technical Information :
***STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x0000000000000003, 0xFFFFFA800DAF46B0, 0xFFFFFA800DAF4990, 0xFFFFF80002F815F0)

edit: Oh, and still no Minidumps.

Another morning, another BSOD.

Code:
Technical information:
***STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x0000000000000003, 0xFFFFFA800E5A3B30, 0xFFFFFA800E5A3E10, 0xFFFFF8002FDA5F0)

Is there any significance to having different codes every time? Or even to the codes in general?

Went a couple days with no BSOD. Figured updated drivers/bios fixed it.

Got one tonight after I got home from work, but this time with a minidump and more specific information in it.

Pictures of BSOD attached, along with minidump.

Sorry for late reply. Too much life interfering with my virtual world.

STOP 0x0000003D: INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Usual causes:
??

Well. That tells us a lot!! :)
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes.
Random stop codes can often indicate hardware issues.

As a Priority:

Your Marvell drivers are specifically mentioned as being the possible cause, so I'd update those.

mv91xx.sys Fri Aug 27 10:49:22 2010 Link Removed due to 404 Error

Check you have the latest drivers for your Razor device (mouse?).

Personally, remove any and all Asus support software.

Let us know how it goes. If you get further problems with blue screens, attach your new dump files and details and we'll move on from there.

HTH.

Just got another BSOD after waking the computer from sleep mode or screen saver, honestly don't remember which.

Reinstalled drivers for my mouse and keyboard (Razor Devices), and the motherboard. They were already the latest updates. Haven't removed the Asus support software yet, will do so tonight/tomarrow.

I appreciate any input.

Picture of BSOD and minidump attached below, top part of BSOD not included in picture reads: 'INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED'.

Haven't changed anything since my last post, but received another BSOD.
I need to re-update the Marvell drivers, I'm almost positive I updated them wrong and the update didn't 'stick'.

Hi Pindle,

You do need to try updating the Marvell drivers again, they're blamed for your latest crash. Link Removed due to 404 Error

Let us know if you have problems.
