Windows 7 Business and Windows 8

I was just at the new 250 room hospital that opened here last month. They went with Windows 7, each patient room has a computer with a 24" monitor. There must be several hundred throughout the entire hospital. Business seems to be avoiding Windows 8 like the plague. I've asked people at hospitals, DR offices and other businesses what OS they are using and many people don't even know. Hopefully Windows 9 desktops will be more like the traditional desktops that preceded the Windows 8 mess.

Nothing much I can say. But I feel like I might share a common sensation that things go too fast, and the tech seems to ignore human nature. My grandmother never understood why "we have to press these buttons" on a telephone, why can't we "dial as we used to". And my father never learned to use a cell phone - he died in peace, without the practice.

Who goes first, man or engineer?
