Windows 7 can anyone help me?

Hi guys firstly i would like to say how amazing you guys are for your help and support to other members.

Ok now to my problem. i did i stupid thing last week and that was downloading a copy of windows 7 ULTIMATE. i have had nothing but bugs on my BRAND NEW laptop after installing this.
So i have today gone out and bought a copy of windows 7 HOME PREMIUM am i going to have problems installing over ULTIMATE if so please help me find away around this your help would be much greatfull.

It is very likely you will encounter a big issue with the installation process. It sounds as though the copy of Windows 7 Ultimate you “downloadedâ€Â￾ was pirated and pre-infected with malware and viruses. Did you purchase Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade or Retail? If you purchased the latter version, you can perform a clean install (custom as it is labeled in Windows 7) and carry on. However, I you purchased the former you will need to have a valid GENUINE copy of Windows XP or Windows Vista for the upgrade product key for Windows 7 to activate.
